WATER SPILL: Avoid runoff to waterways and sewers.
GENERAL PROCEDURES: Contain and/or absorb spill with clay, soil or commercially available absorbents. Block any potential routes to water
systems (e.g., sewers, streams, lakes, etc.)
SPECIAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT: Use respirator when performing operations involving potential exposure to vapor or mist.
7. HANDLING AND STORAGE
GENERAL PROCEDURES: Avoid contact with eyes, skin, and clothing. Provide sufficient air exchange and/or exhaust in work rooms.
HANDLING: Highly flammable. Keep away from sources of ignition. No smoking. Take precautions agains static discharges.
STORAGE: Store containers in compliance with the most recent NFPA code (NFPA 30). Ground all containers prior to pouring. Keep containers
closed when not in use. Do not contaminate drinking water, food or feed by storage or disposal.
STORAGE TEMPERATURE: Less than 140.0 degrees F (less than 60.0 C)
COMMENTS: Container Disposal: Triple rinse (or equivalent). Then offer for recycling or reconditioning, or puncture and dispose of in a
sanitary landfill, or incineration, or, if allowed by state and local authorities, by burning. If burned, stay out of smoke.
