4. FIRST AID MEASURES
EYES: Hold eyelids apart and immediately flush with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Call a physician
immediately.
SKIN: Immediately wash skin with soap and plenty of water. Remove contaminated clothing and shoes.
INGESTION: DO NOT INDUCE VOMITING. Immediately give 2 glasses of water. Never give anything by mouth to an
unconscious person. Call a physician.
INHALATION: Remove victim to fresh air. If breathing is difficult, administer oxygen. Call a physician.
5. FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES
FLASHPOINT AND METHOD: Not combustible.
FLAMMABLE LIMITS: 0 to 0
EXTINGUISHING MEDIA: Use extinguishing media appropriate for surrounding fire.
FIRE FIGHTING EQUIPMENT: Firefighters should wear self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) and full protective
gear. Water can be used to cool and protect exposed material.
HAZARDOUS DECOMPOSITION PRODUCTS: At temperatures above 570 deg F hazardous fumes of oxides of sulfur
and sulfur trioxide are evolved.
6. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES
GENERAL PROCEDURES: Contain spilled material if possible. Absorb with materials such as sand. Collect in suitable
and properly labeled containers. Flush residue with plenty of water.
7. HANDLING AND STORAGE
GENERAL PROCEDURES: Use adequate personal protection. This material is irritating. Avoid contact with eyes.
HANDLING: Keep containers tightly closed. Keep out of reach of children.
STORAGE: Store in a cool dry place.
