Bulb & Socket Wiring Kit
Attachment Tabs:
Due to the design of the removable tabs, the
RangeFinderII, Acclaim and Ambassador tow bars
can not be used. Adapters, except the BX8833,
BX88262 and BX88151, can not be used with this
baseplate.
Installation Notes: The fascia and front
bumper will be removed for installation. Trimming
of the fascia, frame webbing, and front bumper is
required. Some drilling is required.
The dimensional variations between otherwise
identical vehicles can be considerable. While the
baseplate was designed for easy installation, it
may be necessary to tailor the baseplate slightly
to compensate for auto manufacturer’s tolerances.
These minor adjustments may include ling a hole
slightly, bending electrical rods, and/ or bending end
plates.
The BX8869 Wiring Kit is recommended for this
vehicle.
1. Using a T30 Torx, remove the a bolt from
each side of the top of the fascia, near each
headlight (white arrows). Use a T25 Torx to
remove the bolt from the top of the center of
the fascia (gray arrow). Set bolts aside to be
reinstalled later.

2. In front of the driver’s side front tire, use a
T30 Torx and remove two (2) bolts from the
wheel well. Do this on both sides of the car.
Set bolts aside to be reinstalled later.





