12. Using a 1-1/4” hole saw, drill a hole in the top of the bumper extension. Do this to both sides of vehicle.
13. Remove the temperature sensor from the bottom of the bumper on the driver’s side. It will be relocated later.
14. Slide the baseplate on. Be sure the baseplate is level with respect to the vehicle frame and clamp. Using the
baseplate as a template, drill the outside hole rst into the frame rail with a 13/32” drill bit. Start a 3/8”-16 x 1-1/4” bolt
with a 3/8” lock washer and a 3/8”-16 nut plate, inserted into 1-1/4” drilled hole. Tighten with Loctite Red. Do this to
both sides.
15. Using the baseplate as a template, drill two (2) holes into the frame rail with a 13/32” drill bit. Position the correct
support plate for each side and be sure it is level with the frame. Insert 3/8”-16 x 2” hex bolt and 3/8” lock washer into
the support plate. Align to 3/8”-16 nut plate and tighten with Loctite Red. Do this to both sides.

INSTRUCTIONS.
When using power drills be aware of the
dangers of torque and drill bit length.
