8. On driver’s side, disconnect two (2) clips on the coolant line closest to frame. Pull the coolant line over to clear
the area for baseplate installation.
9. On the driver’s side using a 10MM socket, remove two (2) metric bolts from the reservoir. Set bolts aside to be
reinstalled later.



10. Disconnect and plug the windshield washer reservoir hoses. Disconnect the electrical cable of the windshield washer
reservoir pump. Set reservoir aside to be reinstalled later.




11. Using the reciprocation saw, cut through the webbing of the frame end – making a horizontal cut 2-1/4” down from
the top edge of frame rail end (see 11A) starting from the outer edge of webbing and ending 1-3/4” in (see 11B).
Then make a vertical cut starting at the initial cut down 4-1/8” and remove this portion of webbing. Do this to both
sides of the vehicle.
