12. Lift up on the notch in the styrofoam and pull out. Do this on both sides. Set the styrofoam aside to be

reinstalled later.

13. On the driver side, using the reciprocating saw, cut webbing to the surface of the frame at the top and the

bottom of the frame rail. Using a vise grip, bend the middle piece forward toward the front of the car. Bend

until it is ﬂ at against the frame end. Be careful of sharp edges.



11. On the driver side, remove the ground wire from the frame rail (11A). Using 5/16” drill bit, drill a hole through

the bracket in the upper section of the frame rail. Relocate and secure the ground wire with a 1/4-20 x 3/4”

hex bolt and 1/4-20 whiz nut using a 7/16” socket/wrench (11B).



14. On the passenger side, using the reciprocating

saw, make four cuts in the frame webbing to

the surface of the frame rail. One at the top,

one above and one below the washer reservoir

connecting hole (from step 9) and one at the

bottom. Using a vise grip, bend the top and bottom

sections forward and ﬂ at against the frame end.

Then bend the section of the washer reservoir back

ﬂ at against the frame rail side.
