4. Tip the baseplate at an angle, slide it in and
clamp.

6. Dry t three 1/2 x 1 1/2” bolts on the side into the
baseplate. Do this on both sides.

5. Using a 17/32” drill bit, drill out the existing hole.

When using power drills be aware
of the dangers of torque and drill bit
length.
3. Only if equipped with tow hooks: With a 17MM
socket remove the back bolt and washer (grey
arrow). Remove the two (2) bolts by the bracket
(white arrow). Slide the bracket off and remove
tow hook and retighten bolts. Do this on both sides
of the vehicle.


