13. Using a 14MM socket, remove the three
(3) bolts from the passenger side of the
bumper. Then remove the three (3) bolts
from the driver side (inset). Also remove
the nut on the driver side with a 16MM
socket (gray). Set the bumper aside.
14. Flush the baseplate with the top of the
frame, level and clamp into position.
15. Using a 13/32” drill bit, drill the four (4)
holes on the driver side and three (3)
holes on the passenger side thru the
frame. Install 3/8”-16 x 1-1/4” bolts with
lock washers into all holes with 3/8”-16
hex nuts on the top four (4) holes of the
baseplate (white) and 3/8”-16 nut plates
on the front lower holes (gray). On the
driver side lower back hole use three (3)
3/8” at washer and a 3/8”-16 hex nut on
the inside of the frame (black).
16. Attach the permanent baseplate safety
cables to the provided convenience link on
the baseplate. The photo above shows the
recommended installation of the cables to
frame of vehicle. Additional options may
interfere with suggested mounting; in this
case, secure the cables to a solid piece of
the frame as described in the instructions
included with the permanent baseplate safety
cables. Be sure the safety cables do not rub
against any hoses or moving parts. Do this
on BOTH sides of the vehicle.













