18. Using vice grips, bend the frame webbing over and
atten with a hammer. Do this on both sides.
19. Using an 18MM socket and a wrench on the other
side, remove the two metric bolts next to the
attened area. Do this on both sides.






20. Using the 1 1/2” hole saw, drill a hole centered in
the bumper, just in front of the frame end to be
used for inserting 3/8” nut plates. Do this on both
sides.
21. Inside the 1 1/2” drilled hole is a cross piece, which
may need to be bent vertically with a pry bar in
order to insert 3/8” nut plate. Do this on both sides.


22. Slide the baseplate onto the passenger side,
then driver side, bumper supports and clamp in
place. Using the 18MM socket, temporarily install
weldment supports on both sides with the existing
bolts. Then align the baseplate holes with the
weldment support holes and reclamp to bumper
support. Be sure baseplate is level with the
vehicle.

