13. On the passenger side, slide the coolant tube

up out of the way and move the stoppers down

to hold it.

12. On the backside of the fascia cut the top part

of the opening and down the side 1-1/4” in and

straight across. On the lower outside opening

cut 3/8” in and straight across or hold the

fascia up, mark and cut as needed. Do this on

both sides.



15. Cut a hole in the side of the frame rail with a

1-1/4” hole saw. Do this on both sides.

14. Slide the baseplate up as high as it can go,

right under the washer, ush with the bottom

of the metal bumper and back as far as

possible. Be sure the baseplate is level with

the ground and ush against the outside edge

of the frame end. Clamp in place with the

large vise grips. Be sure the coolant line is out

of the way on the passenger side. Align the

baseplate with the existing hole, ream it out.

Using the baseplate as a template, drill the

additional four (4) holes with the 13/32” drill bit.

In order to protect the coolant lines, put a split

rubber hose over the coolant line. Also put a

protective sleeve over the drill bit when drilling

close to the coolant lines.


