The Vario L2 has limited expansion capability, and so the settings in the South On Chip IDE sub menu should be left at
default

This options allows you to turn of the on board Audio
USB Functions
Vario L2 does not have a PS/2 Keyboard or Mouse port, and therefore USB must be enabled if a USB Keyboard or
Mouse is to be used. It is recommended that these settings be left at their default values
On Board I/O Chip Setup

Onboard Serial Port 1 – Options 3F8/IRQ4 (default), Disabled, 2F8/IRQ3, 3E8/IRQ4, 2E8/IRQ3
This allows you to set the serial address and corresponding interrupt, or even disable the port if required
