Hard Drive & Fan Assembly
Remove the hard drive assembly as follows:
Remove two screws from the rear face of the chassis, one each side of the fan.
Lift the fan end of the hard drive bracket a little, and slide the unit to the side to disengage the two tabs at
the front end.
Lift the drive and fan assembly and disconnect the fan power connector (behind the parallel port connector).
Remove the hard drive UDMA printed circuit board from the Primary IDE connector (blue) on the computer
motherboard.
The two DIMM sockets are then accessible.
Plug in the memory making sure that it is fully seated and that the end clips are located into the notches in the
memory circuit boards.
Re-install the hard drive fan power connector, and refit the hard drive assembly.
Fit the two black plastic expanding rivets to secure the Riser Card.
Re-install the PCI expansion card if originally fitted.
Replace the top cover.
When the unit is powered up, the memory will be automatically detected and reported.
