How it works: Positively charged and highly absorbent carbon in the filter attracts and traps
many impurities. There are two filter types offering different filtering capabilities:
 • Granular activated carbon filters are generally inexpensive and effective at filtering
aesthetic contaminants, those that affect taste or smell, and VOCs (volatile organic
compounds).
 • Solid block activated carbon filters are designed to be more effective at filtering
biological contaminants and heavy metals including lead and mercury.
PH: Adds a special blend of minerals for that pure, crisp, fresh taste. Health: provides trace
amounts of mineral / nutrient boost of calcium and magnesium.
How it works: PH filter Increases alkalinity levels between 7.365ph & 7.9+ to restore PH
balance. Without a PH filter, acidic water will decrease hydration and slow metabolism.
Drinking higher alkaline water contributes to more energy & improved hydration. PH also
eliminates bacteria in the tanks, lines and spigots as the water passes through a natural antiseptic
and antibacterial process in the PH Filter.
Ultra Filtration - Eliminates metals, pharmaceuticals to .01 micron only. Extremely helpful in
detoxification / for the immune system &provides trace amounts of mineral / nutrient boost of
calcium and magnesium.
How it works: Ultrafiltration (UF) is a membrane separation process that allows removal of
suspended solids based upon pore size.
Oxidation - Ozone Injection: Activates every night for 10 minutes, to sanitize the Coolers
Resevoir preventing new bacteria to breed in the tank.
How it works: An oxidizing agent such as chlorine or potassium permanganate is used to
oxidize the iron or manganese to an insoluble form, which can then be filtered out of the water.
