While the scanner is deliv er ing its test v oltage , ne v er touch the f ollo wing areas , or else , y ou will be
electr ifi ed, and r un the r isk of death b y electr ic shoc k.
• the output ter minal
• the test leadwires connected to the output ter minal
• the De vice Under T est (DUT)
• an y par t of the scanner , which is electr ically connected to the output ter minal, and
• the same par t as abo v e immediately after the output has been cut off when in the DC mode of
test.
Also , electr ic shoc k or accident ma y ar ise in the f ollo wing cases:
• the scanner being oper ated without g rounding.
• if the glo v es f or electr ical job are not used.
• approach to an y par t connected to the output ter minal while the po w er of the scanner is tur ned
on.
• the same action as abo v e immediately after the po w er of tester has been tur ned off when in the
DC mode of test.
