module and install the ypertech hip. ow does the ypertech
hip work At wide open throttle the ower hip selects an
optimum spark advance and airfuel ratio thereby allowing the
engine to perform way beyond the limitations imposed by the stock
chip. And because the ower hip only affects wide open throttle
operation fuel economy is unaffected. he ypertech ower
hip is available in types. Street unner is designed for stock
or slightly modifi ed orvettes and will yield the results mentioned
above. hermo aster has been further modifi ed to allow the
use of a cooler thermostat degrees. A cooler engine of
course will make more power than a hot engine. or your ordering
convenience the degree thermostats are listed below the
chips along with the thermostat housing gasket.

the hot plenum area to the air fi lter base where it can sense
cooler air. his enables the to adust fuel to more accurate
air temperatures resulting in increased engine perf ormance. This
kit can be used with or without the orced Air Induction System.
Includes the following IA Sensor ADA designed and N
machined aluminum mount bracket with stainless steel hardware
and extension harness and cable ties. Installation takes

Since the orvettes
computer no longer has a
replaceable chip so ypertech
developed a portable programmer
allowing you to reprogram your orvettes computer yourself.
Simply plug the programmer into the computers AD connector
and youre ready to reprogram. ith a push of a button the
factory program is downloaded into the programmer where it
is stored and may be used again if needed. hen ypertechs
performance program is uploaded. he program features both
optimied ignition and fuel curves for maximum horsepower at
all rpm points resulting in improved driveability and performance.
he ower rogrammer also raises the automatic transmissions
shift points and the engines rev limiter. It will even recalibrate the
speedometer for a gear ratio on automatic equipped cars.
