Note: As you probably know this product has a thin wire inside that
measures the air flow that moves across it and tells the engine’s
computer it needs more or less fuel. These commonly fail all together
or work sporadically because the thin wire (aka element or guide wire)
breaks or grounds out causing your Corvette to stall. An easy way to
check for a broken, but not severed wire is to gently tap on the MAF
sensor with the handle of a screw driver while the car is running, if it
stalls it most likely is a bad sensor. Two other parts that can also cause
stalling are the burn-off relay and power relay, so check these too.
