4. OPERATING ADJUSTMENTS
NOTE: After making any adjustment, hold the <MENU> button for approximately 3
seconds, otherwise the xture will return to the correct mode after approximately 10
seconds.
DMX Mode
Allows the unit to be controlled by any universal DMX controller.
1.)ThedefaultmodeforthextureisDMX,whichappearsas
Addr on the LED
readout. Push the <ENTER> button then the <UP> and <DOWN> buttons to
choose a channel between 1 and 512. Press <ENTER>againtoconrm.
2.) To change between DMX channel modes, select
ChNd, then press
<ENTER>. Select either
3Ch, 5Ch or 12Ch, then press <ENTER> again
toconrm.
Master/Slave Mode (Auto/Sound Active/Color Preset/Custom):
Allows you to link up to 32 units together without a controller.
1.) Use standard DMX cables to daisy chain your units together via the DMX connector on
the rear of the units.
2.) Choose a unit to function as the Master. Select MAST. The master unit must be the
rstunit.Finally,chaintheunitstogetherusingDMXcable.
Master
SLNd then NASt toconrm.
3.)Setthexturetoslaveruninslavemodebyusingthe<UP>/<DOWN> keys to
reach either
SLV1(whichfunctionsthesameasthemasterxture)orchooseSLV2
(functionsascomplimentarytothemasterxture).
Slave 1
SLNd then SLU1 toconrm.
Slave 2
SLNd then SLU2 toconrm.
NOTE: Fixtures in slave mode will display “
STBY“ (Standby). This is NORMAL. Return
the xture to master mode to use it as a standalone xture.
4.)Onthemasterxture,usethe<UP>/<DOWN> keys to reach SHND, which allows
you to select other functions:
Sound active
SoUn then S1 - S3, <ENTER>.
S1 = Sound Active + Strobe
S2 = Sound Active - Color Snap
S3 = Sound Active + Fade
Auto mode
CoLo then Auto then <ENTER>toconrm.
Color preset
CoLo then Co 1 - Co 31, <ENTER>
Color strobe
StCo then 0-255 (Slowest <---> Fastest)
then
Co 1 - Co 31, <ENTER>
Color fade
FAdE then SPO1 - SP08 (Slowest <---> Fastest)
NOTE: Speed 1 = Fastest (Approx. 1.5 sec. per color), Speed 8 = Slowest (Approx.
2 min.
per color).
