The
MirrorTap
Power
Cord
(MTPC)
utilizes
an
in
line
fuse
to
help
pro
ect your radar
detecto
and
your vehicle's electrical
ystem
.
You
will
need
to
identify
the
Ground
wire
a· d
the
+12
volt
switched
wire
in
your mirror'
wire
ham
.
This
can
be
done
by
using
a volt meter.

1 -
Most
auto
dimming
rear
view
mirrors have a
mo
ex
plug
supplying
power
to
the
mirror.
Push
the
release
tab
down
and
pull
the
plug
out of
the
mirror.
You
may
have
to
wiggle
the
plug
from
side
to
side
as
you
are
pulling.
2 IMPORTANT-
Each
wire
enters
the
molex
pt
g a a rectangular
port
as
shown
by
the
y,

arrows
below
.
When
inserting
the
MTPC
prongs
into
the
rectangular port
of th
mo
ex
plug
,
you
will
have
to
try
in
rti
ng the
TPC
prong
in
all
four
sides
of
th
rectangular port
to
determine the
best w
t.
DO
NOT
use
excessive
trying
to
insert
the
prongs
.
3 Insert
the
two
prongs
of
the
MTPC
.
Th
ack
prong
wedge
against
what
has
been
determined
to
be
the
ground
re
.
The
red
prong
wedge
against
what
has
been
determined
to
be
the
+12
volt
switched
wire.
4 -
Secure
the
MTPC
to
the
mirror's
wire
harness
using
the
supplied
cabl
tie. This
will
help
prevent
the
MTPC
from
accidentally
being
pulled
out of
the
plug
.
