Installing the system again
If the TravelPilot EX-V is installed in a different vehicle, the entire calibration process
must be performed again.
1. Select “New installation”. Press
OK
.
A warning note will appear. ✔
2. If you want to recalibrate the system, select “Continue” and press the
OK
button.
All the calibration data are deleted. ✔
3. As soon as you begin driving, the TravelPilot will begin to calibrate the sys-
tem.
This process is displayed in a status window. ✔
Displaying the calibration status
You can display the status of your system calibration.
1. Select “Status”. Press
OK
.
A window indicating the current calibration status will appear. ✔
The status information is indicated in percent.
Restarting the device software
If the TravelPilot EX-V locks up due to malfunction or if some of its functions can no
longer be used, you can restart the device software. If this does not remedy the prob-
lem, please contact your dealer.
1. Press and hold down the
button on the navigation computer.
The navigation DVD is ejected. ✔
2. Only release the
button again after the display has switched off and
the navigation DVD has been drawn back into the drive.
The TravelPilot EX-V will restart. ✔
