System settings
Activating/deactivating the user input lock
If the user input lock is activated, you will not be able to use some of the functions on
the TravelPilot EX-V whilst driving, such as entering a destination. A warning mes-
sage will appear on the display if you attempt to use a locked function. Press the
OK
button to hide the warning message.
1. If you want to activate/deactivate the user input lock, select the Speed lock
menu item. Press the
OK
button.
A confirmation request is displayed.
2. Mark the appropriate item. Press the
OK
button.
A menu for entering the numerical code is displayed.
3. Enter the security code. Finally, mark OK and press the
OK
button.
If you have entered the security code correctly, the Other menu will be dis-
played with the setting alongside the menu item.
Calibration settings
1. Mark on the top line of the Settings menu. Press
OK
.
The sub-menu for calibration will appear.
Calibration after changing the tyres
When the car tyres are changed, from summer to winter tyres for example, it might be
necessary to calibrate the TravelPilot EX-V again.
1. Select Tyre change. Press
OK
.
A warning note will appear.
2. If you want to calibrate the system, select Continue and press
OK
.
As soon as you begin driving, the TravelPilot EX-V will begin to update the
calibration information stored.
This process is displayed in a status window.
