3. After you have entered the city/town, the street and the junction, you still
have to set the direction and the distance from the junction to your vehicle
position. Select the corresponding menu item and use
to enter the in-
formation. Then mark “OK” and press
OK
.
Activating the demonstration mode
You can use the TravelPilot EX-V to simulate route guidance.
1. If you would like to activate the demonstration mode, select “Demo”.
Press
OK
.
A selection menu will appear. ✔
2. Select either the simple demonstration mode (“Normal”) or a constant repeat
(“Autorepeat”). Press
OK
.
Navigation will be reloaded. ✔
Note
Destinations and tours programmed during the demonstration mode will
not be saved in the destination memory when the demonstration mode
has ended.
The demonstration mode remains active until the TravelPilot EX-V is re-
started or until it is deactivated.
Deactivating the demonstration mode
1. If you would like to deactivate the demonstration mode, select
in the
“Settings” menu. Press
OK
.
The sub-menu for other settings will appear. ✔
2. Select “Navigation”. Press
OK
.
Navigation will be reloaded. ✔
