Setting the volume of the confirmation beep
1. Select the “Volume” menu item. Press the
OK
button.
The menu for adjusting the volume is displayed. ✔
2. Use the
buttons to select the scale for adjusting the confirmation
beep volume.
The adjustment scale is marked. ✔
3. Set the volume using the
buttons.
4. Press the
OK
button.
The audio/video settings submenu is displayed. ✔
Switching voice output on/off (mute)
1. Select the “Mute” menu item. Press the
OK
button.
The spoken driving recommendations are deactivated if a tick mark is dis-
played alongside the menu item. ✔
Plus Point: You can also conveniently deactivate voice output in the route
guidance drop-down menu. For further details, please read the section enti-
tled “Switching voice output on/off” in the “Route guidance” chapter.
Selecting the automatic/day/night display mode
1. To select the display mode, mark “Display”. Press
OK
.
A menu for the selection of the display mode will appear. ✔
2. Select the desired mode. Press
OK
.
The mode selected will be activated. ✔
Plus Point: You can also conveniently change the display mode in the route
guidance “Settings” menu. For further information, refer to the section enti-
tled “Selecting the automatic/day/night display mode” in the “Route guid-
ance” chapter.
