BLAUPUNKT LIMITED WARRANTY (CANADA)
SUBJECT TO THE LIMITATIONS AND CONDITIONS SET OUT BELOW, Robert Bosch Inc
(“Robert Bosch”) warrants the replacement of Blaupunkt car radio accessones, and the repair or
replacement of Blaupunkt car radios or car radio parts, which, under normal condiiions of use or
service, are found to be defective in materials and/or workmanship within twelve (12) months from
the date of installation by an authorized Blaupunkt dealer of Robert Bosch
FOR GREATER CERTAINTY, THIS BLAUPUNKT LIMITED WARRANTY IS SUBJECT TO
THE FOLLOWING LIMITATIONS AND CONDITIONS:

For purposes of this warranty, a Blaupunkt car radio accessory is a product which enhances,
or is dependent upon, the operation of a Blaupunkt car radio but does not form an integral part
thereof and may be purchased independently of the car radio unit
With the exception of labour costs incurred in connection with the removal or installation of car
radios and accessories and related activities, defective accessories will be replaced. and car
radios or car radio parts will bs repaired or replaced by a like item by an authorized Blaupunkt
warranty sewice depot or authorized Blaupunkt dealer, free of labour costs related to such
replacement or repair.
This warranty does not apply to car radios and car radio parts and accessories supplied by
Robert Bosch to manufacturers for instalhtion in their products as original equipment Such
manufacturers mav. in some cases. orovide wwrantv covaraae for a oeriod different than that
provided herein ”

This warranty is limited to Blaupunkt car radi% and car radio parts and accessories installed in
a motor vehicle bv an authorized Blauounkt warrantv service depot or authorized Blau~unkt
dealer and to Blaipunkt car radios and’accessories ik a motor vehicle. the installation of which
has been approved by an authorized Blaupunkt warranty service depot or authorized
Blaupunkt dealer.
Specifically excluded from this warranty are car radios and car radio parts and accessories
which have been rendered defective by misuse, negligence, modification or abuse, by
imorooer installation. application. operation or removal, by unauthorized service or the use of
uiauihorized parts Also exclud’ed from this warraniy are parts which are subject to
replacement due to normal wear and tear, normal maintenance to the tape portion of car
radios such as cleaning. head demaqnethation, lubrication and other minor adiustments and
service required to elimkate any &&o-magnetic interference
A claim under this warranty can only be made by the original customer within twelve (12)
months of the date of installation of the car radio accessory, as the case may be, and is
contingent upon the presentation of the attached warranty certificate countersigned by an
authorized Blauounkt dealer of Robert Bosch within ten (10) davs of the said installation date
This warrantv ig not transferable by the original consum& to sibsequent owners, nor does it

To the extent allow& bv the law of the iurisdiction in which the Blauounkt car radio or car radio
accessories are porch&d, this war&y sets out the only remedies available to the original
consumer with respect to the car radio or car radio parts or accessories owned by him This
warranty constitutes the entire agreement between Robert Bosch and the original consumer.
The only representations, oral or written, concerning the Blaupunkt car radios or car radio
parts or accessories which are binding on Robert Bosch are the written representations
contained in this warranty Neither Robert Bosch nor its affiliated companies shall be liable for
incidental or consequential damages which may result from defective car radios or car radio
parts or accessories or from the defective installation thereof, whether or not due to the
negligence of Robert Bosch This warranty applies only to Blaupunkt car radios and car radio
parts and accessories and does not cover any other motor vehicle parts
THIS WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER EXPRESS WARRANTIES AND
CONDITIONS. ANY WARRANTY OR CONDITION IMPLIED BY LAW, WHETHER OF
MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR OTHERWISE, IS
LIMITED TO THE PERIOD THAT THIS EXPRESS WARRANTY IS EFFECTIVE and no
attempt to alter, modi@ or amend this warranty shall be effective unless authorized in writing by
an officer of Robert Bosch
Some jurisdictions do not allow the imposition of limitation periods on a warranty$ duration,
nor do they condone the exclusion of incidental or consequential damages. You may therefore
have other rights which vary between jurisdictions and you may have additonal legal rights
against parsons other than Robert Bosch
Robert Bosch reserves the right to examine car radios and car radio parts and accessories
alleged to be defective in materials and/or workmanship to determine the nature and cause of
such defect and its decision in this regard shall be final Robert Bosch also reserves the right
to decide between repair and replace&ent
