Changing the password
You must change the password (0000 in the delivery state) to
protect your device against theft. The password is queried if the
device is to be operated again after an interruption of the supply
voltage.
In addition, the password is queried for the playback of DVDs
that are protected by parental control.
1. Touch the

2. Sequentially touch the

3. Activate “OLD CODE” (old password) by touching it.
4. To change the password, first enter the current password
using the buttons
00
to
99
and confirm the entry with the
OKOK
button.
5. Next, enter the new password in the “NEW CODE” (new
password) field.
6. After entering the new password, you are asked to confirm
it by re-entering it in the “RE-CODE” (repeat new pass-
word) field.
7. Touch the
EXIT
EXIT
button to exit the menu.
Wallpapers
The Aspen/Chicago IVDM-7003 allows for displaying seven dif-
ferent wallpapers. You can load your own images into the device
from a CD-ROM which can then be selected as wallpaper. In
addition, you can specify that the selected image is always dis-
played or that an automatic change of the stored images is per-
formed.
