DVD setup menu

Performing settings in the setup menu

The settings in the setup menu can be performed using the but-

tons of the setup menu or the buttons of the remote control.

The detailed information about the individual menus contain only

descriptions of the operation via buttons.

The following overview features a description of the principal

operation using the buttons of the remote control. It allows you to

perform all the settings in the setup menu.

To call up the setup menu,

press the SETUP button.

●

To select between the setup menus,

press the SRC button repeatedly.

●

To select between the submenus,

press the

or button repeatedly.

●

To activate menu entries,

press the ENTER button.

●

To select menu entries,

press the

or button repeatedly.

●

To perform settings,

press the

or button repeatedly.

●

To confirm settings you made,

press the ENTER button.

●

To cancel settings without saving them,

press the

/ RETURN button.

●

To exit the setup menu,

press the SETUP button.

DVD setup

Selecting a language

You can preset your preferred playback language for the DVD

sound and whether and in which language subtitles are shown.

This requires that the selected language is stored on the DVD

and that the DVD supports this function. With some DVDs, the

standard language is preset.

In addition, you can select the language of the menu texts for the

setup menu.

Note: English is the selected language for the figures

used in these instructions.

1. Touch the

Setup

button on the touch screen menu.

✔ The DVD “Language” submenu is displayed.
