AIR CLEANER
CRANKCASE VENTILATION
Loosen the nut and open the
frame to remove the foam air
lter.
Use the foam lter cleaner to
wash the air cleaner thorou-
ghly. Use compressor to blow
onto the air cleaner and let it
dry out. Do not twist or pull the
lter when drying.
Apply the foam lter impregna-
ting oil to treat the lter.
Any damaged air lter shall be
replaced.
Follow the same procedure in
reverse order to re-install the
lter.
The service shall be performed more frequently on motorcycles
operated in wet environment or at full throttle.
Disconnect the oil trap from
the bleeding pipe and the cy-
linder head cover.
Clean the oil trap using com-
pressed air.
Never disassemble the oil
trap.
Connect the oil trap to the cy-
linder head cover and to the
engine bleeding hose.
