Operation

6.1 Operation

Normal start-up and operation of the dust collector BDC 1216 is no

different from the procedure described in Chapter 5 “Initial operation”.

Make sure that no vehicles, such as forklift trucks and other

equipment run over the electric cable and the dust hose.

6.2 Switching-off the dust collector

 Put the switch in the "OFF" position in order to switch off the

aspirating engines.

 Pull out the mains plug from the socket.

When the Blastrac dust collector is put out of operation for a longer

period of time, pull out the mains plug ,clean the dust collector and

cover it with a plastic foil.

6.3 Emptying the dust bin

The level of the hopper must be regularly checked. The periods are

dependent on the surface to be cleaned.
