Maintenance tips
The nanotechnology-based SLP nish (Smart
Lens Protection) provides the smallest possi-
ble area for attack by water and dust. Rain-
drops trickle o it and this makes cleaning
the lenses signicantly easier. Contami-
nation on the lenses can impair the image
quality. We therefore recommend removing
nger marks, dust and other dirt from the
surfaces of the lenses and ocular using a
soft hair brush and/or the optics cleaning
cloth supplied with the riescope. The hous-
ing of the riescope can be cleaned using a
damp cloth. Please use the optics cleaning
cloth supplied only to clean the lenses.
When cleaning the rie, cover the lenses of
the riescope carefully, to prevent acciden-
tal contact with cleaning agents. Clean the
housing of the riescope regularly using a
clean, soft cloth.
Serial number
The individual serial number of your Blaser
riescope is located on the underside of the
ocular. Specify this number when registering
online for the Blaser registration service
at https://www.blaser.de/en/services/
product-registration/.
Troubleshooting
Internal fogging
Fogging of the internal optical parts can be
caused by damaged seal and the penetra-
tion of moisture. This is mostly caused by
improper use of the riescope. Please note
that damage caused by dismantling your
riescope is excluded from the guarantee.
In case of fogging of the internal optics, take
your riescope to an authorised Blaser deal-
er or send it to the Blaser customer service
for repair. Fogging of the external optical
parts generally occurs in case of major tem-
perature changes and high humidity and
does not constitute a defect.
