1. Close the action (push the bolt handle all
the way to the front) and uncock the rie
2. Hold the rie horizontally and in an up-
right position
3. Pull out the illumination dial (illuminated
turns on)
4. dial 2x darker, 1x brighter, 3x darker
within 6 seconds (turn the rotary rocker
switch to the respective stop briey and
allow it to spring back).
5. As soon as the reticle illumination ashes
quickly, move the cocking slide into the
cocked position
6. Actuate the illumination dial 1x darker
(reticle illumination ashes slowly).
7. The ashing stops after 3 seconds. The
illuminated dot lights up at the previously
set brightness level. The pairing process
is now complete.
8. Uncock the rie.
The reticle illumination is now switched on
and o automatically by cocking or uncock-
ing the rie when the illumination is switched
o (illumination dial pushed in).
Deleting the iC coupling
To delete the coupling of the iC cocking
slide with the riescope, repeat the pairing
process, however at step 6 turn 1x brighter.
Possible errors
If the illumination ashes quickly for a further
6 seconds after step 6, the pairing process
was not successful and needs to be repeat-
ed. If the pairing process fails again, the
combination of riescope,rie and mountig
position is not optimal and the detected dif-
ference between the cocking slide positions
was too small.
iC mode
Cocking a Blaser rie equipped with iC auto-
matically activates the reticle illumination of
the Blaser riescopes. The hunter is imme-
diately ready to shoot. As a result they gain
time, a sense of calm and therefore safety.
A sensor in the ocular of the riescope de-
tects the position of the cocking slide and
switches the reticle illumination on or o
automatically. This reliably ensures that the
illuminated dot is always activated when the
rie is cocked before shooting. Operation
of the rie and scope is reduced to a single
movement. The hunter only has to adjust
the light intensity to the prevailing light con-
ditions at the start of the hunt.
The iC mode is active when the illumination
dial is pushed in.
