Adjusting the riescope to the rie
zeroing
First, unscrew the caps of the elevation and
windage adjustment (Fig. 4). In the BLASER
2.8-20x50 iC and 4-20x58 iC, remove the
QDC unit (see section on removing and
mounting the QDC unit).
The adjustment knobs with scale and a ref-
erence mark for the zero position are now
exposed. Each click and scale graduation
of the adjustment knob causes a change in
point of impact of 1 cm at 100 m.
Elevation adjustment: If the impacts on tar-
get are low, turn the elevation knob clock-
wise. If the impacts on target are high, turn
the elevation knob counterclockwise.
Windage adjustment: If the impacts on tar-
get are to the right, turn the windage knob
clockwise.
If the impacts on target are to the left, turn
the windage knob counterclockwise (Fig. 5).
If the shot group is centered on target,
loosen the two set screws on the circumfer-
ence of the dial by one quarter turn coun-
ter-clockwise (Fig. 6).
The adjustment knob can now be turned
freely without clicks being felt or heard. Now
turn the adjustment knob so that the zero
marking of the scale is aligned with the in-
dex marking and carefully tighten both set
screws.
