Dioptre adjustment – focussing the
reticle
The dioptre adjustment is used to focus the
reticle for the individual eye of the user. Cor-
rective glasses or contact lenses, which are
to be worn for shooting, must also be worn
when setting the dioptre adjustment. The
setting is made once for the respective user
and does not need to be changed, as long
as the vision of the user does not change.
To set the dioptre compensation, set the
highest magnication. Look through the
riescope at a distant, neutral background,
e.g. the cloudy sky and at the same time, turn
the dioptre adjustment at the ocular (Fig. 2)
anticlockwise until the images is defocussed.
Then turn the dioptre adjustment slowly
clockwise, until the reticle appears focussed
(sharply dened) without straining the eye.
The reticle must then appear focussed
immediately when looking through the rie-
scope again.
Mounting
Blaser riescopes are equipped with the
tried and tested internal Z-rail as a stan dard
feature. Used in conjunction with the original
Blaser saddle mount, simple, reli able and el-
egant mounting is ensured.
The screws, which x the sliding blocks of
the internal rail must be tightened with
maximum torque 3 Nm. Use of a medi-
um-strength thread locking adhesive is
recommended, to ensure lasting strength
of the joint.
We recommend having the mounting car-
ried out by your Blaser dealer, to ensure
optimum matching of the rearm and
mounting.
Settings
Magnication setting
The magnication can be continuously ad-
justed. To set the required magnication,
turn the magnication ring in the front area
of the ocular (Fig. 1). Turn clockwise to re-
duce the magnication, turn anticlockwise to
increase magnication.
