Reticule adjustment
The adjustment screws
for elevation and windage
adjustment are located at the
top rear and right-hand side
of the sight, respectively. They
are protected with cover caps
which must be removed before
adjustment may occur. The
cover caps also function as a
tool for elevation and windage
adjustment. For this purpose,
simply unscrew the cover caps
and use them as a setting tool.
Elevation adjustment
The elevation adjustment is
located on the top of the sight.
If your shots are too low, turn
the adjustment screw to the
left using the cover cap or a
at-tip screwdriver. Each click
corresponds to 15mm at 100m.
If your shots are too high, turn
the adjustment screw clockwise.
Windage adjustment
The windage adjustment is
located on the right-hand side
of the sight. If your shots are
too far to the left, turn the
adjustment screw anticlockwise
using the cover cap or a at-
tip screwdriver. Each click
corresponds to 15mm at 100m.
If your shots are too far to the
right, turn the adjustment screw
clockwise.
Flip covers
Your RD17 comes with two pre-
mounted Blaser ip covers.
These ip covers serve to protect
the lenses and can simply be
ipped up during use. The ip
covers are screwed to the RD17
on threading with a locking
ring and can be unscrewed if
necessary. To open and close
the ip covers, simply press
them toward the front/rear.
