3.1. Loading the firearm
DANGER:
Ensure that the muzzle always points in a direc-
tion in which no person or object is endangered.
If the firearm is subjected to strong vibration or
dropped, it is possible that shots will be fired
even with the safety catch applied. Only place
your finger on the trigger if you are about to fire
the firearm.
f Apply the safety catch. S ( = Safe) is visible.
f Press and hold the locking lever.
f Tilt the barrel assembly downwards to the fully
open position.
f Hold the barrel pointing downwards.
f Push cartridges corresponding to the calibre
of the barrel into the chamber.
f Fold up the rear stock.
f Check that the locking lever is closed.
f The firearm is loaded, cocked and the safety
catch is applied.
3.2. Unloading the firearm
DANGER:
The firearm is cocked when it is opened. Ensure
that the muzzle always points in a direction in
which no person or object is endangered. Only
place your finger on the trigger if you are about
to fire the firearm.
NOTE:
The firearm has an extractor with ejector func-
tion on both barrels. After firing a shot, the ejec-
tor function for the respective barrel is active.
When the firearm is opened, the extractor lifts
up the unfired cartridges slightly or ejects the
fired cartridges.
f Apply the safety catch. S ( = Safe) is visible.
f Press and hold the locking lever.
f Tilt the barrel assembly downwards to the fully
open position.
f The extractor lifts up the unfired cartridges
slightly or ejects the fired cartridges.
f Pull out the unfired cartridges.
f The firearm is unloaded.
4.1. Barrel selection and firing
DANGER:
The firearm is cocked when it is opened. Ensure
that the muzzle always points in a direction in
which no person or object is endangered. Only
place your finger on the trigger if you are about
to fire the firearm. Only select the barrel when
the safety catch is applied and with the lock
opened.
Barrel selection
To select the barrel for the first or second shot,
there is a selector lever in front of the trigger.
f Push the selector lever to the left (press the
side of the lever marked with a “U” = Under).
– First shot from the bottom barrel.
– Second shot from the top barrel.
f Push the selector lever to the right (press
on the side of the lever marked with an “O”=
Over).
– First shot from the top barrel.
– Second shot from the bottom barrel.

Firing
DANGER:
Before firing, ensure that no foreign bodies
(e.g. water, show, soil) are in the barrel. Check
your surroundings, front and rear, before every
shot. Only point the firearm at a target which
can be clearly identified. Only place your finger
on the trigger if you are about to fire the firearm.
After firing a shot
– one lock remains cocked
– a live cartridge remains in the barrel
When shooting, wear hearing protection and
safety glasses.
f Make the firearm ready by releasing the
safety catch.
S ( = Safe) is not visible.
f Operate the trigger (first shot).
f If necessary, operate the trigger again (sec-
ondshot).
f Apply the safety catch and open the firearm.
