2. Operation1. Assembly, dismantling
DANGER:
Ensure that the muzzle always points in adirec-
tion in which no person or object is endangered.
Only place your finger on the trigger if you are
about to fire the firearm.
2.1. Opening the firearm
f Press and hold the locking lever.
f Tilt the barrel assembly downwards to the fully
opened position.
2.2. Closing the firearm
f Hold the barrel pointing downwards.
f Fold up the rear stock.
f Check that the locking lever is closed.
f The firearm is closed.
2.3. Applying the safety catch
DANGER:
If the firearm is subjected to strong vibration or
dropped, it is possible that shots will be fired
even with the safety catch applied.
f Slide the safety catch to the rear using your
thumb.
f S ( = Safe) is visible. The firearm is secured.
2.4. Releasing the safety catch
f Slide the safety catch forwards using your
thumb.
f S ( = Safe) is no longer visible. Safety is re-
leased.
NOTE:
To quickly become able to handle your firearm
safely, have all assembly steps performed by
aspecialist (e.g. specialist dealer).
1.1. Attaching the barrel
NOTE:
Mounting the barrel set is only possible when
the forearm is removed.
f Press the locking lever until it engages.
f Push in both extractors to the stop.
f Insert the barrel assembly.
NOTE:
For easier handling, grasp the barrel with your
fingers over the barrel and use your thumb to
guide it onto the action assembly.
f Insert the hinge pins in the action assembly
into the corresponding bearings on the barrel.
Hold the barrel downwards at an angle while
doing this.
f Fold up the rear stock.
f Check that the locking lever is closed.
f The firearm is closed.
1.2. Attach the forearm
f Place the forearm on the curve on the action
assembly.
f Fold up the forearm until it snaps into place.
DANGER:
Before dismantling the firearm, make it safe and
unload it.
1.3. Remove the forearm
f Press the forearm catch.
f Remove the forearm.
1.4. Unhook the barrel assembly
f Press and hold the locking lever.
f Tilt the barrel assembly (approx. 45°).
f Pull the hinge pins on the action assembly
out of the bearings on the barrel.
