INSTALLATION Positioning The appliance may be placed in any room, provided the following precautions are taken. The appliance expels hot, very moist air. The rest of the house must be able to easily absorb this moisture. Normally, absorption is only possible in houses where there is very little humidity. Otherwise, the room must have ventilation towards the outside; generally, an open door or window is enough. The capacity of the venting circuit must be at least 150 m3/hour.
Condensation discharge at the front 1 2 If you use the front or side vent outlet, the cover you have removed should be placed at the back. P0319 Remove the small cover and introduce the vent hose with the collar into the vent outlet. The tongue on the collar should correspond with the slot on the vent hole. Then push firmly to ensure secure fit.

Electronic Controlled Programmes The selector dial incorporates a drying cycle up to 100 minutes. Time Controlled Programmes If you select a drying time which is too long for the laundry you have loaded, the machine will not carry out the whole drying time but will begin the cooling phase as soon as the required degree of drying has been obtained. Important If you dry particularly delicate synthetics, switch on the LOW TEMP. button. In this case a longer drying time should be selected.

Drying Sequence 1. Load the laundry P0305 Open the door by pulling it outward. Load the items one at a time, shaking them out loosely and close the door. Please check the laundry does not get caught between the door and filter. 2. Press the button(s) required. Turn the selector dial to the desired programme or time. 3. Select the drying time or the drying programme B The buzzer will sound after 2 secs. The drying light and mains-on light will illuminate and the machine starts to work.
Hints on Drying ■ Do not overload the appliance. The best and most economical load is the maximum indicated for the different types of fabric. MAINTENANCE Important You must disconnect the appliance from the electricity supply, before you can carry out any cleaning or maintenance work. External cleaning Use only soap and water and then dry thoroughly. From time to time, apply a little wax furniture cream with a soft cloth. Periodically clean the interior part of the door to remove any fluff. Thorough cleaning ensures correct drying. Important: do not use methylated spirits, thinners or similar products.
