Flight Modes Explained
Smart Mode
Thisightmodeisintendedfor
thebeginnerpilot.Forbestre-
sultswhileusingSmart Mode,
itisrecommendedthepilot
alwaysturntofacethe
350QX3whileying.
•Stick Relativity–Whilein
Smart Mode,thepathoftheaircraftwillalways
followthecontrolstickinputdirectionrelativetothe
pilotlocation,regardlessofthedirectionthenoseof
theaircraftispointing.
•SAFE Circle
™
feature–Inmostscenarios,thequad
willnotentertheSAFECircle.
•Position Hold–Theaircraftwillholditspositionwhen
elevatorandaileroninputsareatneutral.
•Self-Leveling–Bringsthe350QX3toalevelattitude
whentheelevatorandaileroninputsareatneutral.
•100 m geo-fence–The350QX3usesGPSinforma-
tiontocreateavirtualbarrierandwillnottravel
fartherthan100metersfromthehomeposition.
AP Mode
Thisightmodekeepsthe
350QX3inasteadyhover
andlockedintopositionwhile
thecontrolsareheldatneutral,
makingitdealforimage/video
capture.
•Control Input–WhileinAP Mode,the350QX3
followsthecontrolstickinputdirectionrelativetothe
positionandorientationoftheaircraftratherthanthe
positionofthepilot.
•Position Hold–Theaircraftwillholditspositionwhen
elevatorandaileroninputsareatneutral.
•Self-Leveling –Bringsthe350QX2APtoalevel
attitudewhentheelevatorandaileroninputsareat
neutral.
