IP Trunk Hash Configuration
Trunk hash parameters are set globally for the switch. You can enable one or two parameters to
configure any of the following valid combinations:
SMAC (source MAC only)
DMAC (destination MAC only)
SIP (source IP only)
DIP (destination IP only)
SIP + DIP (source IP and destination IP)
SMAC + DMAC (source MAC and destination MAC)
Use the following commands to configure Layer 2 IP trunk hash parameters. The trunk hash
settings affect both static trunks and LACP trunks.

Command Syntax and Usage
portchannel hash source-ip-address
Enables trunk hashing on the source IP address.
Command mode: Global configuration
portchannel hash destination-ip-address
Enables trunk hashing on the destination IP address.
Command mode: Global configuration
portchannel hash source-destination-ip
Enables trunk hashing on the source and destination IP address.
Command mode: Global configuration
portchannel hash source-mac-address
Enables trunk hashing on the source MAC address.
Command mode: Global configuration
portchannel hash destination-mac-address
Enables trunk hashing on the destination MAC address.
