2. Configure the Failover Manual Monitor Port.
Run [no] failover trigger <1-8> mmon monitor portchannel <trunk number>
command to add or remove the selected trunk group to the Manual Monitor Port
configuration (Example 5-81). These ports are the whose states the switch monitors to
control the server port link.

3. Configure Failover Manual Monitor Control.
Run [no] failover trigger <1-8> mmon control member <port alias or number> to add
or remove the selected port to the Manual Monitor Control configuration (Example 5-82).
This port is the port the switch controls (the server port).
