Link Aggregation Control Protocol Configuration
Use the following commands to configure Link Aggregation Control Protocol (LACP).
portchannel hash destination-mac-address
Enables trunk hashing on the destination MAC address.
Command mode: Global configuration
portchannel hash source-destination-mac
Enables trunk hashing on the source and destination MAC address.
Command mode: Global configuration
show portchannel hash
Displays current Layer 2 trunk hash setting.
Command mode: All

Command Syntax and Usage
lacp system-priority {<1-65535>}
Defines the priority value for the switch. Lower numbers provide higher priority.
The default value is 32768.
Command mode: Global configuration
lacp timeout {short|long}
Defines the timeout period before invalidating LACP data from a remote partner. Choose short
(3 seconds) or long (90 seconds). The default value is long.
Note: It is recommended that you use a timeout value of long, to reduce LACPDU processing.
If the CPU utilization rate of your switch remains at 100% for periods of 90 seconds or more,
consider using static trunks instead of LACP.
