DSCP Re-Marking and Mapping
DSCP Re-Marking Overview
The G8000 can re-mark the DSCP value of ingress packets to a new value, and set the 802.1p
priority value, based on the DSCP value. You can view the default settings by using the command
shown below.
Use the following command to turn on DSCP re-marking globally.
Then you must enable DSCP re-marking on any port that you wish to perform this function
(Interface Port mode).
Note – If an ACL meter is configured for DSCP re-marking, the meter function takes precedence
over QoS re-marking.
