Updating the internal software

To update your ATEM SDI, simply connect the unit to your computer via USB or Ethernet.

Launch ATEM Setup. If the software version installed on your computer is newer than the

version installed on your switcher, a dialogue box will appear notifying you of an update.

Simplyclick on the ‘update’ button and follow the prompts to update the unit.

A progress bar will appear with a notification to let you know when the update is complete.

Setup Page

Name

If you want to rename your switcher, type a new name into the box and click ‘save’.

Software

Displays the current software version installed on your ATEM SDI.

Network

These settings allow you to configure options such as choosing between connecting to a

network over DHCP or using a static IP address. For more information on connecting your

ATEMswitcher to a network, refer to the ‘connecting to a network’ section.

Connection Priority - When Ethernet and a mobile phone are both connected to ATEM

SDI Pro ISO or Extreme ISO models, this setting lets you choose which connection will be

used for streaming. For more information on mobile tethering, refer to the ‘smartphone

tethering’ section.
