Trimming
Most editors would agree that trimming is half the job of editing. While you
can make many kinds of changes in the Timeline using the selection and
razor blade tools, there is a dedicated Trim mode in which you can
perform more sophisticated trim operations in fewer steps using either the
mouse or keyboard shortcuts, depending on how you like to work.
Mastering DaVinci Resolve’s trimming operations will save you time when
doing the necessary work of fine-tuning your edit.
