ASSEMBLY & INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS for WEG-26C-PC, WEG-36C-PC

CAUTION: READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY FOR SAFE OPERATION AND INSTALLATION.

CAUTION

Turn off the main power at the circuit breaker before installing the fixture in order to prevent possible

shock.

GENERAL

1. All electrical connections must be in accordance with local and national electrical code (N.E.C)

standards. If you are unfamiliar with proper electrical wiring connections obtain the services of a

qualified electrician. Remove the fixture and the mounting package from the box and make sure

that no parts are missing by referencing the illustrations on the installation instruction.

2. Dimming controller type: TRIAC phase control dimmer.

3. Recommended TRIAC dimmers: LEVITON: ILLUMATECH IPL06, SURESLIDE 6674

LUTRON: ARIADNI AYCL-153P, DIVA DVCL-153P, SKYLARK CTCL-153P, SKYLARK SCL-153P

ASSEMBLY AND INSTALLATION

1. Take the fixture out of the box.

2. Remove the back panel (10) from the decorative pan (11) by loosening the decorative nut (12).

3. Pull the supply wires (2 & 8) and the house ground wire (5) out of the outlet box (1). Install back

panel (10) to the outlet box (1) by using two mounting screws (9).

4. Make the wiring connections: connect the white supply wire (8) to the white fixture wire (7);

connect the black supply wire (5) to the black fixture wire (6); connect the house ground wire (2) to the

fixture ground wire (4) using wire connectors (3).

5. Temporarily mount decorative pan (11) to back panel (10) by attaching both loops (14) to mating

hooks (13). Adjust the three suspension cables to the approximate mounting length by loosening the

nylon set screws (16) located in retainer collar(15). Use the Allen wrench provided in the accompanying

parts bag to tighten or loosen the nylon set screw. With the set screw (16) loosened, raise or lower the

suspension wire into each retainer collar (15) until the three suspension cords are approximately

adjusted to the desired mounting length. Tighten the nylon set screws (16) to retain the wire. Tighten

for a snug fit but DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN THE SET SCREWS INTO THE SUPPORT WIRE.

6. Once the wire is adjusted to the approximate mounting length wind the excess wire in the canopy

around the three fixed brackets, and then use the attached twist ties to retain the excess wire into one

big loop that will fit inside the decorative pan (11).

7. Secure the decorative pan (11) to the back panel (10) by tightening the decorative nut (12).

8. Once the canopy is in place, fine tune the fixture suspension cable lengths to get the fixture level and the three wires even in length. If required, loosen the nylon set screw (16) located in retainer collar (15) that needs to be adjusted. Follow the instructions listed in step 5 to adjust each suspension wire until the fixture is level and at the desired height.
