1-2. Checklist

Before you start installing the switch, verify that the package contains the

following:

⎯ A set of 3-Slot 24 Fast Ethernet + 2 Gigabit L2 Managed Switch with

Redundant Power

⎯ Modules (optional)

⎯ Mounting Accessory (for 19” Rack Shelf)

⎯ This User's Manual in CD-ROM

⎯ AC Power Cord

⎯ RS-232 Cable

Please notify your sales representative immediately if any of the aforementioned

items is missing or damaged.

Please also verify that the AC power package contains the following:

⎯ 1 pcs of AC Power

⎯ 1 pcs of AC Power Cord

⎯ 1 pcs of 60cm AC Power Cord for power-in daisy chain

(Note: Maximum 4 sets of switches are allowed in daisy chain)

The 3-Slot 24 Fast Ethernet + 2 Gigabit L2 Managed Switch with Redundant

Power, a standalone off-the-shelf switch, provides the comprehensive features

listed below for users to perform system network administration and efficiently and

securely serve your network.

• Supports 3 ∗ 8-port 10/100M TP with Nway and auto MDIX function

• Supports 3 slots of removable and hot swappable 8-port 10/100M TP or 100M

fiber module; 2 Gigabit dual media ports(TP/SFP), in which 2 slots for removable

SFP module supporting 1000M SFP fiber module

• Supports dual redundant pluggable power with loading share. Input: AC: 100-

240VAC, DC: -36~-72VDC.

• Supports on-line pluggable fiber transceiver modules.

• Supports 8K MAC addresses with automatic learning and aging.

• Supports 256KB packet buffer and 128KB control memory

• Maximal packet length can be up to 1536 bytes

• Full-duplex flow control (IEEE802.3x) and half-duplex backpressure

• Extensive front-panel diagnostic LEDs; System: Power A/B, CPURUN, ACT /

FDX / SPD(LEDSET), 10/100Mbps port 1-8 of 3 modules: LINK/ACT, FDX, SPD,
