Roaming User issues and cleanup functionality
There are outstanding issues with the Roaming User functionality in the Notes 8 basic configuration*
which prevent new use instances of a Roaming User setup. Since the "Cleanup" functionality is
dependent upon Roaming User, this functionality is also affected.

Please note that Roaming User is not supported in Notes 8 in its standard configuration.
Workaround
Do not create new Roaming Users.
Search issues

Double quotations needed for searching DBCS
The Notes 8 web query syntax for Search now causes a need for double-quotation marks to search for
DBCS entries.

Error occurs in Notes IPC Asynch Message processor
When searching some applications, the following error may occur:

(16)".java.lang.NullPointerException
Workaround
Switch the tab view and resubmit your search.

Number fielded query needs parentheses
A number fielded query is not handled properly without parentheses. If there are no parentheses, then
the "Query is not understandable" message is displayed. Be sure to use parentheses around the number
fielded query, for example, ([Number1]>2).
