Exit/Launch issues
Install Notes as a root user. Select an install path with a blank (for example, "/opt/ibm/lotus/notes test").
Log out as root and log in as a normal user. Notes will not launch and the error message "Failed to login"
displays.
Notes libraries are installed with incorrect SELinux labels on RHEL 5. To work around this issue, change
SELinux setting to "Permissive", restart the machine, launch Notes, and set "Troubleshoot browser" to
list labels.
When launching Notes, the password dialog appears. Selecting "Exit Notes" and clicking the OK button
displays an error message:

File type with DBCS unreadable when selecting a GIF file
When you have installed Lotus Notes 8 in a DBCS locale, for example Simplified Chinese, and you then
open choose View - -> Image Resource -> New from a document, the display is readable before you
select any .GIF file, but will become unreadable after selecting a .GIF file.

Focus is lost under some conditions
In Notes, open a mail message from Activities, and click the "Open Original Email" button to open the
original mail. Press <ESC>, and the original mail is closed, but the tab bar loses focus. Clicking <ESC>
again will not close the current page.
In addition, for the Locate Object dialog, focus is taken from CAE and is given to the main Notes client;
focus is not returned to CAE even after closing this dialog.
There are some unnecessary screen refresh events due to unexpected focus changing.

Font list dialog box closes
The Font list dialog box closes automatically when changing the scroll bar.
