Domino for System i
System i: Domwzd missing System Database panel
Register an additional Domino server, and then run the Domino configuration wizard to "Set up an
additional Server". The panel "Provide System Databases for this Domino server" is not displayed.
Note: This problem occurs only with the Domino configuration wizard launched from iSeries Navigator; it
is fixed in the DOMWZD.EXE file that extracted from the Domino 8 Beta 2 Web kit.
Domino for System i
System i: Installation will fail if WRKDOMSVR command active
Installing Domino 8 on System i will fail if a WRKDOMSVR CL command is being run in another session.
If this occurs, an error message in the job log indicates that the QGNNINDS object cannot be allocated.
Verify that there are no interactive jobs running the WRKDOMSVR command, and that all Domino servers
are ended, when you perform the installation.

How to display Chat History entries
The File -> Open Chat History command will display the chat history entries that are saved in local files
when the Sametime Chat History preference is set to "save to local file". However, when the Sametime
Chat History preference is set to "save to mail file", you need to open the Chat History view in the mail file
to see the saved entries.

IM Vertical Orientation View is not working
The Instant Messaging/Lotus Sametime icon does not display in the bottom row of the client if the user
changes the "Vertical orientation" setting to "Bottom" in the Names section, as outlined in the following
example:
1.
Install and launch the Notes client
2.
Open "Mail" and select a view from the Views folder in the Navigator
3.
Select "View -> Design" to open Domino Designer
4.
Select the "Name" column and right-click to open Column Properties
5.
In the advanced format tab from the Column Properties dialog, set the Row Height to 3 for the View
property
6.
The Sametime icon does not display in the Mail view
