Ending the Notes 8 uninstall process before completion
If you end the Lotus Notes 8 Beta uninstall program prematurely, you may be prompted to navigate
though various error messages, then be prompted to restart your system. After restart, rollback begins.
When rollback is complete, some files and empty folders may remain in your installation directory. To
avoid this complication, be sure to let the uninstall program run to completion.

Repair not supported for Eclipse-based features and shortcuts
For Lotus Notes 8 shortcuts, including the IBM Lotus Productivity Tools, and for installed features resident
in the <
install
_
dir >\framework folder, the traditional Windows Repair utility, obtained using Add/Remove
Programs > Change, is not functional. Running the Repair utility can leave the Lotus Notes 8 installation
in a bad state and should be avoided. If you inadvertently run the utility and then encounter problems
uninstalling or reinstalling Lotus Notes 8, see the "Cleaning a previous Notes 8 Beta installation from your
client" release note for related information.

Uninstalling if Notes 8 path contains a space
The Lotus Notes 8 uninstaller will not run if the installation path contains a space. If you find yourself in
this situation, see the "Uninstalling Notes 8 Beta" release notes for manual uninstall steps.
