About screen pinning
Screen pinning lets you pin one app into the foreground on your device. The feature disables the and buttons on
your device so that the only way to close a pinned app is to unpin the screen. You can set up screen pinning so that you
must enter your screen lock to unpin the screen.
Screen pinning allows you to let someone else use your device, for example, to play a game or view a video, without
worrying that the person might close the app and access your data.
Turn on screen pinning
1. Swipe down from the top of the screen once using two
fingers, or twice using one finger.

Tap > Security > Screen pinning.
3. Turn on the switch.
4. To unpin a screen without entering your screen lock, turn
o the Ask for Password/PIN/Pattern before unpinning
switch.

Pin a screen
Make sure that you have turned on the screen pinning feature.
1. Open an app or a screen that you want to pin to the foreground of your device.

To unpin a screen, touch and hold and at the same time. If necessary, enter your screen lock.
Install a certificate
Some Wi-Fi and VPN networks require your device to have a security certificate before the device can connect to the
network. You can install a certificate to help identify your device. Typically, when you install a client certificate, a
certification authority (CA) certificate is installed on your device at the same time.
1. Connect your device to your computer using a USB cable.
2. Copy the
certificate or keystore to the root of the internal storage space on your device, your media card, or your
Google Drive

account.
