Change accessibility settings
You can turn accessibility settings on or o, such as Google
™
TalkBack, captions, touch & hold delay, and color inversion.
1. Swipe down from the top of the screen once using two fingers, or twice using one finger.

Tap > Accessibility.
3. Set the accessibility options switches.
Turn on Hearing Aid mode
Hearing Aid mode is designed to improve the compatibility of your device with a hearing aid equipped with a telecoil. This
feature might not be supported depending on your BlackBerry device model. Hearing aid compatibility ratings are available
online at BlackBerry Accessibility.

In the Phone app, in the upper-right corner of the screen, tap .
2. Tap Settings > Accessibility.
3. Select the Hearing aids checkbox or turn on the Hearing aids switch.
Turn on TTY support
TTY support is designed to allow your device to connect with an external TTY device that converts received calls to text.
The TTY device that you want to connect to your BlackBerry device must operate at 45.45 bps. If your TTY device is
designed for use with a 2.5-mm headset jack, you must use an adapter accessory to connect your TTY device to your
device. The adapter end that plugs into the TTY device must be a male three pole mono 2.5-mm headset jack, and the end
that plugs into your BlackBerry device must be a male four pole stereo 3.5-mm headset jack.
1. Connect a TTY device to your device according to the instructions that came with your TTY device.

In the Phone app, in the upper-right corner of the screen, tap .
3. Tap Settings > Accessibility > TTY mode.
4. Select one of the following TTY modes:
• To turn
o all TTY settings, tap TTY O.
• To turn on all TTY settings, tap TTY Full.
• To turn on TTY Hearing Carry Over mode, tap TTY HCO.
• To turn on TTY Voice Carry Over mode, tap TTY VCO.
